JARBA Farms welcomes you to our website and looks forward to a competitive and successful 2013
JARBA Farms is an eventing facility in northwest Montana owned and run by Olympian Jil Walton and her husband, Rick Patterson. The focus at JARBA is to produce quality event horses and train successful riders.
Jil’s success has been based on horses she has started herself, the best being Patrona, her Olympic mount in 1992 who began her career at novice level under Jil. She continues making green horses and riders into upper level competitors and our goal at JARBA is to create the best environment for those horses and riders to excel.
We achieve this through a very balanced training schedule that incorporates work in the dressage court, mind-clearing days in the mountains, and exercises in our large sand jumping area that includes banks, ditches, berms and all the innovations of JARBA Jumps. Horses and riders have the advantage of practicing at an excellent facility under the guidance of Jil and our visiting clinicians.
All this good practice adds up and we do pack it all up and go eventing. Check on our SCHEDULE to track our plans for 2013. We have several talented babies to bring out next year whose progress you can follow above in FUTURE STARS. A good young horse is reason to get up in the morning and that paired with our clients big plans sets up an exciting 2013 event season.
